About the Ratings
I use a five-star ratings scheme for the movies, books, restaurants, concerts etc on this site:
* - Didn’t like. Not recommended.
** - Subpar, but might be worthwhile in the right situation. Some redeeming qualities.
*** - Recommended. Good work. Worthwhile, generally.
**** - Very, very good. Highly recommended. Really loved it.
***** - Masterpiece for the ages. I generally don’t give anything 5 stars after just one viewing.
