I’m thrilled to present the official book trailer for Kino, which comes in the guise of the trailer for The Tulip Thief, Klaus “Kino” Koblitz’s 1927 debut film. With the help of editor Ivan Guerrero, The Tulip Thief comes alive with remixed excerpts from nine films from the era, including  Häxan: Witchcraft Through the Ages (1922) and The Cursed Windmill (1909).

The trailer also marks the kickoff of the Kino Remix Project with an invitation by Mina Koblitz herself — more about this soon.
