Death Proof was, despite it's solid core plot idea (psycho stuntman killing innocent women with his car? sure!) a long, drawn out uninspired attempt at witty dialogue. Instead though, it's almost as if QT wrote it all and then said, "Well, it came from my head - it must be genius!" Planet Death though? Damn good stuff. Excellent article, Fauth.
