I’m not sure why I assumed for the longest time that this was a documentary–it’s not. It’s a feature about one of those guys you see all the time in New York, pushing (pulling, really) their bagel-and-coffee cart through nutso Manhattan traffic. It’s not what you’d call a feel good movie, but it’s very graceful. Proper About.com review forthcoming any minute now. Opens tomorrow.

Man Push Cart, Ramin Bahrani, 2005. ***

Ramin Bahrani’s Man Push Cart remedies the oversight with a tale of dignity and quiet suffering. With Ahmad Razvi and Leticia Dolera. Man Push Cart opens tomorrow.
