Interesting experiment in split screen drama–a chamber drama (which I could have sworn was based on a play, but wasn’t) between Aaron Eckhart and Helena Bonham Carter is shown from two angles at once. Turns out they used to married, now they meet again, and every so often half of the image will flash back to younger versions of them, sometimes it’ll show alternate takes almost simultaneously, usually they just show the other pov. It’s effective, and affecting, although I was slightly disappointed by the ending. A worthwhile experiment.
