Maurice Pialat acts in & directs this 1983 film. Starts as by-now familiar french coming-of-age story; Suzanne (Sandrine Bonnaire) sleeping around etc., but in the last act, it turns into more of the story of her dysfunctional family. Some terrifically uncomfortable screaming fights. Criterion is releasing this soon.
