We’re halfway through the first season of the Showtime series with Mary Louise Parker as suburban widow and mother of two who makes do by selling pot. It’s funny but I wouldn’t call it a comedy series–it’s a soap/drama, and it pushes TV a little bit further out there in terms of drug jokes, sex jokes, and kids-who-make-terrorist-videos jokes. We like.
